REMISSION Records - BANDS
SUFFERAGE

Sufferage were foundet in spring 2000 by the brothers Lasse and Ole Fink. After the first songs have been written, Jasmin Fleiner and Oliver Frank joined the band and Sufferage was born.

In november 2000 they recorded their first Demo-CD „Birth“ with 7 songs and it reached very positive reactions.

In this way, Sufferage toured across Germany and meanwhile, new songs were created for the „Birth“ follower.

Finally they entered the Klang Salon Studio Hamburg in april 2003, to record the debut album „Raw Meat Experience“, wich was released as a self production.

„Raw Meat Experience“ reaped very positive reviews and was very well sold for a self production.

They were busy to continue playing concerts everywhere; among others Sufferage entered the stages of some festivals, for example the Soulgrinding in Strassbourg, the Moutains of Death in Zurich, the Obscene Extreme, the Fuck the Commerce and the Wacken Open Air, where Sufferage produced a hundred of DVD called “Sufferage Zerhacken Wacken” (Sufferage chop up Wacken), that contained their gig and some other live-recordings.

They didn’t spend much time for the song-writing of the “Raw Meat...” follower, and in spring 2006 they finally went to the Flatfork Studio Hamburg again to record their second album „Bloodspawn“.

After „Bloodspawn” has been released by Remission Records in November 2006 and harvested positive reactions by the press and the fans as well, Jasmin decided to leave the band due to some personal reasons.

Nevertheless, the band was busy to write new material and meanwhile, they searched for a new shouter, who quickly was found in Sebastian Fröhlich.

In summer of this year, enough new songs were created and the band entered the 3rd A Studio in Hamburg  to record the new material, which is now presented with the title “Everlasting Enmity”, where new singer Sebastian makes his debut and proofs the gain for the band by his voice.

The coverartwork of „Everlasting Enmity“ was created by Killustrations again, who besides a lot of more worked for Dew Scented, Aborted, Debauchery, Obscenity, Lay Down Rotten or Avulsed.

Sufferage will play concerts and festivals now as much as possible to promote „Everlasting Enmity“.
