Death Reality from Mügeln/ Sachsen were formed in February 1996. It was a spontaneous idea. This was the way three young boys, Jürgen 15, Micha 14 and Martin 13, found together to play songs of some rockbands and write own songs later. Bands like "U2", "Die Ärzte" and "Pink Floyd" were just some idols for this young formation. "Die Amateure" the band was named and this way the music sounded, too.

One year later they came in touch with CD´s from Cradle of Filth, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Gorgoroth and Monstrosity and were very impressed by the music's toughness and brutality. And that's why they decided to throw the old stuff overboard, just to create a new style and to start once more. The name of the band was changed into Death Reality and a fourth member was searched. The right one for this task was founded in Tobias. He complete the Line up that has not been changed since this point of time.

In October of 1998 they used to record the first demo, called "Ancient Rebirth", which was sold 300 times in a short time.

After the recording the band used the time to refine the music style. They started to unify all kind of the influences of their big idols, which still determine the whole sound of Death Reality nowadays. To the strongest influences belong probably Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Obituary, Suffocation and Deicide. On basis of the good reaction from the press for the first demo, as well as the positive feedback of the listeners on the many concerts, the band decided to enter the studio in October 1999 again to record the "Butchered Souls" demo, which was sold 450 times until now.

In April 2001 the song writing for the first complete album "Blasphemous Bleeding" was finished and the band went immediately to the studio to record the new stuff.

At a show in May of the same year, Death Reality came in contact with Remission Records, who gave the possibility for a deal. After some interlocutions the signing of the treaty happened in June 2001.

One year after the recording of the successful debut album "Blasphemous Bleeding" Death Reality have had the next date in a recording studio, the Soundlodge Studio in Oldenburg, this time under the direction of Jörg Uken to record the second album "Flesh Still Feeds".

The music style of the band had been refined so that it is possible to contrast with the masses of the brutal death metal bands and create so an independent sound.

As a little extra "Flesh Still Feeds" contains a cover version of the Obituary classic "Threatening Skies" as a hidden track. The band chose this track conscious, because this album had a big influence of the musical development for the band and was some kind of conditioning drug for the brutal death metal.

Death Reality will be more present at the live section and try to raise their name recognition. But so much is certain: Death Reality will frighten some celebrity's of the metal scene, thinking of that the band has an average age of 20 years! ! !
